Klaus von Grebmer, a citizen of Switzerland, is director of IFPRI's Communications Division. Klaus joined IFPRI in 1999. Before that, Klaus worked for 26 years in the private sector as a business consultant, |
health economist, and senior manager in communications and issues management. In 1998 he joined the World Bank within its Staff Exchange Program and was a principal operations officer in rural development. He earned master's and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Kiel University, Germany. |
