In order to make meaningful contributions toward addressing its mission, AIARD's membership is unique in its breadth.

It includes development professionals from the most relevant disciplines from a vast community of universities, private voluntary organizations, commercial firms, consulting companies, trade associations, governmental and donor agencies, and foundations in the United States and overseas. The membership has had extensive development experience in all regions of the world and regularly interacts to discuss issues and approaches. Such breadth of membership in a variety of disciplines, organizations, and geographic regions makes it an excellent focal point for providing information dealing with current and emerging issues concerning global poverty, food security, and related environmental matters, particularly as they relate to international agriculture and rural development.

Membership Options

1. Regular Membership - $35.00 per year
2. Student Membership - $15.00 per year
3. Sustaining Private Sector Membership with the following options:
   1. Corporate Sponsor Membership will be given to those corporations who give a $500.00 minimum gift. Corporate sponsors will:
      1. be recognized in the AIARD newsletter;
      2. have the opportunity to use our website for recognition and links;
      3. have a chief executive officer or designee membership;
      4. their contribution will be tax deductible; and
      5. receive a certificate of appreciation.
   2. Individual Sponsor will receive (in addition to their membership)
      1. recognition in the AIARD newsletter,
      2. website acknowledgement,
      3. a certificate of appreciation, and
      4. their contribution will be tax deductible.
      Individual Sponsor Categories
      • Bronze Sustaining Member $50.00 - 99.00
      • Silver Sustaining Member $100.00 - 249.00
      • Gold Sustaining Member $250.00 - 499.00
      • Platinum Sustaining Member $500.00 - 999.00
      • Life Time Sustaining Member $1,000.00 or greater
4. Public Sector Affiliations ($250.00 minimum gift requirement). Public sector affiliations will include universities, governmental and international organizations. As part of their gift, they will receive
   1. recognition in the AIARD newsletter and website,
   2. certificate of appreciation, and
   3. chief executive officer or designee membership.

AIARD's Fiscal Year is July 1 through June 30
